WHAT IS BRIGHT ACADEMICS?

Bright Academics is a single 60:00 advising session for athletes who want to learn more about how to best prepare academically for college. Our academic advisor specializes in preparing athletes for the classes needed for the schools they hope to target.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Families with students in 6th-12th grade.

Bright Academics helps 6th-12th grade students and families strategically prepare for college admissions through personalized academic planning and long-term educational guidance.

Through individualized guidance from a JHC advisor, families receive insight into important academic considerations throughout middle school and high school, allowing students to approach their educational path with greater clarity and long-term strategy.

This advising session helps students:

  • Understand academic expectations for college admissions

  • Strategically plan coursework throughout high school

  • Prepare for classes aligned with prospective colleges and academic goals

  • Develop long-term academic planning strategies

  • Gain awareness of important academic milestones and considerations

Bright Academics is available for students in grades 6–12 and is designed to provide families with proactive planning support throughout the academic preparation process.

The program includes:

  • One 60-minute personal advising session

  • Personalized academic planning guidance tailored to the student and family

Students, parents, or both may participate in the advising session.
